REMOVE FORMATTING IN WORD FROM ANY PASTED TEXT

Remove formatting in Word from any pasted text

Whenever text is copied from any other source, the formatting of the text is retained when it is pasted into Microsoft Word. For instance, if you were to copy the text on this page and paste it into a Microsoft World document , this text would appear in bold, and this text would appear blue.

To remove the formatting of any text in Microsoft Word, select the text and press the keyboard shortcut CTRL +SPACEBAR.

NOTE:- Unfortunately, at the time writing this, there is no keyboard shortcut on macOS to remove formatting . To do this ,you need to select the text, then on the Edit menu, click Clear, then select Clear Formatting.

Alternatively, if you have copied text but have not yet pasted it, you can use the Paste Special option or keep Text only option in Microsoft world to paste the text without any formatting.
